About the Client

Hyr is our partner based in the USA, that provides an AI-driven intelligent screening layer that seamlessly integrates into a company’s existing hiring process. Its web app reads each job application, builds a 360-degree view of skills, experience and psychometric signals required for the job (the “Ideal Candidate Profile”), then scores every applicant submission against the ICP. The result is a clear Talent Leaderboard that cuts out most unqualified applicants and highlights the top few percent who truly fit the role.

Background & Challenges

The main challenge in recruiting has switched greatly. The last decade looked somewhat like “searching for a needle in a haystack’. But this haystack is now full of millions of AI-generated resumes, a.k.a. needles, due to the availability of generative AI.And that’s how the idea for Hyr was born. Hyr was built for lower to mid-market companies (200–1,500 employees) managing high-volume hiring as well as high-growth Series B/C “Velocity” startups that need to scale fast.

That shared focus on speed and volume is what brought us together, and ultimately led to a partnership where we designed and built their enterprise grade web app.

Solution & Implementation

AI Service

Our team built the AI Service for Hyr to generate the Ideal Candidate Profile (ICP) and score applicants against it using Milvus, DSPy, and a RAG pipeline. It also extracts captions from interview videos, performs text summarization, and is implemented with Python/FastAPI and Celery for asynchronous processing.

Backend (BE)

We designed the Backend for Hyr to manage all application logic and data in PostgreSQL, including tenants, jobs, candidates, and evaluation results. It communicates asynchronously with the AI Service via message queues, exposes APIs for the Frontend, and supports a multitenant setup using PHP/Symfony, AWS S3, CloudFront, and Lambda.

Frontend (FE)

For Hyr, we delivered a Frontend consisting of two web apps: a Recruiter App for managing jobs and reviewing candidates, and a Candidate App for applying and completing interview steps. Both are built with React, Next.js, and TypeScript to provide a fast, reliable, and scalable user experience.
